Kirby Keller is a nineteen-year-old young woman with a true passion for helping others.  Kirby is the type of person who believes in living her life to the fullest and tries to put that philosophy into action each and every day. She is quick to smile and even faster to laugh with the ability to make friends wherever she goes. Her zest for life and close, solid family ties set the groundwork for Kirby's compassion for others and interest in volunteerism.

As a Senior at Orange Park High School, Kirby was enrolled in honors classes, serves the Class President for 2011 , and is the Captain for the Varsity Girls Golf team.  She enjoys competitive activities, the outdoors, as well as extreme and competitive sports. Kirby is currently the Grand Supreme Queen for Miss American Darling, Miss Pace Island Outstanding Teen for the Miss America organization, and was honored to be selected as the first Miss Florida High School. She is looking forward to using her pageant experience to spread the word about her organization.

Recently, Kirby moved to Gainesville, Florida continuing her education at Sante Fe College majoring in Jornalism. In years to come she hopes to be a broadcaster and possibly have her very own daily talk show.

"Kids Helping Kids."

"Kids Helping Kids" is a matchmaking service that places volunteers with organizations they can relate to. The thought behind this service is that if teen and youth volunteers have something in common with the organization they work with, they will become volunteers for life.

As a youth, Kirby spent many hours volunteering in athletic leagues for special needs children and adults. Active in both Highrollers Bowling League and Challenger Baseball, Kirby developed a love for helping these individuals excel in athletics. And now as a teen, she continues her volunteer work by coaching Babe Ruth Softball at Orange Park Athletic Association, helping at Ronald McDonald House, collecting donations to support Dignity-U-Wear, Give Kids the World, Relay for Life, and Tyler's Tabs, and most recently participating as a "buddy" in Babe Ruth Buddy Ball for intellectually and physically challenged athletes.

Kirby feels that we have so much to gain as human beings by appreciating our personal good fortunes and putting that good back out into the world. She hopes to use any status she may gain by her participation to encourage others to volunteer and serve their communities.
